Ryan Harris Takes Helm as Mayers CEO
We are delighted to share the appointment of Ryan Harris as the new Chief Executive Officer of Mayers Memorial Healthcare District. A native of the Intermountain area, Ryan and his wife, Amanda are deeply rooted in the community, with their two children currently attending local schools.
With rural healthcare experience and a deep understanding of the healthcare needs specific to our community, Mr. Harris brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. His strong ties to the Intermountain area ensure that he is well acquainted with the challenges and opportunities we face in providing exceptional healthcare services.
Having graduated from Fall River High School in 2001, Harris went on to complete a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance in 2006. Currently, he is in the final stages of earning his master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management, which he is set to complete in February 2024.
Harris and his family returned to the Intermountain area in 2016, and he joined the Mayers team as Director of Operations. Since then, he has proven himself a valuable team member, serving as the Chief Operations Officer since 2018. He played a pivotal role in the development and execution of numerous strategic initiatives, including the successful implementation of the new hospital wing. Harris also played a vital part in the financial success that the district has experienced over the past eight years. Impressed by the dedication and passion exhibited by employees of the organization, Harris expressed his desire to contribute further by assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer. He stated, "I am grateful for the opportunity to lead an organization that has such a profound impact on the community that my family and I love."
Harris's local roots, combined with his education, experience, and familiarity with the organization, bring a multifaceted perspective to the table. We are confident that under his leadership, Mayers Memorial Healthcare District will continue to thrive and provide exceptional healthcare services to the community.
