About Les Cufaude

Les was born in California and is a 5th generation Californian. Les worked on the family ranch while growing up and, after high school, attended Fresno State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then moved to Colorado, where he was in the restaurant and real estate development business. He moved back to California and graduated from Lincoln Law School. During law school, he started consulting in the oil industry and later started his own company- now having worked in over 12 countries. One of the highlights was assisting the President of Ukraine and his Chief of Staff in writing their oil and gas laws. This is Les's second time on the Mayers Board; the first was from 1998-2004, and he was awarded the California Hospital Association Trustee of the Year award in 2002. Les continues in the oil industry and thoroughly enjoys living in the Fall River Valley, where he has resided for over 30 years.
